Drop-Ins supplement (i.e. do not replace) Tat ‘n Chats
and are a great opportunity for local tatters to get together on a more regular basis. It’s nice to know that if you have to miss a meeting, the next one is “just around the corner”.
They are also an easy way for visiting tatters to connect with locals.
Drop-Ins are often in public places, so when acquaintances or even complete strangers show an interest in your tatting, it’s easy to suggest that they drop in on one of our regular gatherings.
You might also generate public awareness by posting signs or notices.

Peterborough, Ontario
Peterborough Square (on George Street in downtown Peterborough) is the place to be on Wednesdays between 10 am and 4 pm. Murray sets up for tatting on the lower level of the Mall (in front of the Crop Circles store).
If you are thinking of dropping-in, please call 705-760-9389 first to make sure that Murray will be there that day.
Toronto, Ontario
We’ve made arrangements to meet at LongBranch Public Library on the 4th Saturday of each month until at least May / June.
So the next GTA Tatting Drop-In is confirmed as:
Saturday February 25, 2012 from 1 pm – 4 pm.
LongBranch Public Library is at 3500 Lake Shore Blvd. West in Etobicoke - at the northwest corner of 32nd Street and Lake Shore Blvd. West .
There is parking behind the Library off 32nd Street . It is also accessible by TTC (see www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/detail.jsp?R=LIB061 for details).
London, Ontario
Tatting Drop-Ins at London’s Carson Library will be held the first Tuesday evening and the third Saturday afternoon for the months of March through June, 2012. The following dates are confirmed:
