The Fringe’s tatting weekend September 23 & 24, 2016. The executive group is working hard to line up teachers for this years event. We're ready if you are! The Class Information Package is here along with the Participants Form.
Remember to refresh your participants form to stay up to date to what classes are still available!
PLEASE NOTE - due to circumstances beyond our control, we will NOT have the use of the teaching space at the hotel in September.
We have been most fortunate to secure one of the Royal Canadian Legion Halls, a quick 7 minute drive from the hotel. We are continuing to book rooms at the hotel for Thursday, Friday and Saturday night as required. A map has been attached to show the route - please save and print a copy if you're coming to Cambridge.
Hope you can join us!
The idea for a new tatting group – The Fringe Element Tatters – originated at a Tat ’n Chat in Creemore, Ontario in August 2005.
We are based in Southern Ontario, but have members from across Canada, the US and even the UK, Australia and India.
Membership fees are just one small tatted heart per year – although we gladly accept more. These hearts are used at public events to help fulfill our mission “to show and teach as many people as possible how to tat”.
We encourage our members to participate in tatting exchanges throughout the year and organize local Tat ‘n Chat’s in their area. Each September we host our major event (this year in Cambridge, Ontario). Classes for our “Fall into Tatting” weekend always include beginner needle & shuttle tatting as well as more advanced techniques. Because our group is multi-talented, we also include a non-tatting needlecraft.
